Remember Your Childhood

Hello friends!  Happy Friday and happy long weekend!
Do you have any plans for this Labor Day weekend?  I am going to be very busy which will mean no time to stamp!  So many things going on, but I sure hope it cools down a bit so we can enjoy it!

Today, I have something a bit different for you.
I absolutely LOVE Vintage style and images, but I just don't have much practice with it.
Today, I'm sharing one and perhaps several more as I enjoyed working with this! :)
This stunning image was given to me from Ignacio from Nicecrane Designs.
This image is from her "Remember Your Childhood" sheet and she asked if I could do something with it to help her promote her images. (You can see the whole sheet of images by clicking on the name.)
Go check out the store as she has tons and tons of sheets just like these and if you don't like to color something in, she also has pre-colored images as well....I've got an eyeball on some others that I think are absolutely stunning!  This is something new to me and I thank you Ignacio for inviting me to have a play with your images!  You'll be seeing more from me! :0)

For my design, I've colored the entire image with my Copic cool grey colors and only colored the doll's dress with red.  (You will understand why below.)  I added a border with some of that awesome glass glitter from Stampin' Up! which adds a nice Vintage touch.  I also stamped a post mark in the bottom corner of the image and added a punched white border on two sides of the image.  Then mounted on black stamped with a flourish design and on a white card base with a flourish design.  Topped it off with a red ribbon and pearl to offset and draw attention to the red in the image.

Here are some challenges that I'd like to enter this for:
Addicted to Stamps & More - I used Option 3
(There is a Nicecrane Designs Freebie to use on challenge blog!)

Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
Charisma Cardz - Just One (one ribbon, one pearl, one non-neutral color)

So that's it from me, I hope you've enjoyed my creation for you today and I wish you all a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I love it when you visit!

Believe in Wings

Hello friends!  Are you staying inside?  The heat index is over 100 degrees today and will be up to 106 degrees tomorrow, so I am staying in the air conditioning and feeling sorry watching the construction guys across my street who are working on the school.  They are not only in the heat, but directly in the sun as well!  (If you remember a couple of posts ago, I mentioned a new school going up across the street from me, I have some photos to share of the progress in this post below.)

So today I have ventured into the realm of "blingy" and I took the thing with wings literally as I've added some feathers to my design as well!  I absolutely LOVE the Saturated Canary images and this probably my all time fave image from her.  This image is called Whispy.  She has come out with another new image that I think is gorgeous that is another fairy and I think I like that one just as much now! :)

So here's a look at the entire card.  The circle sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and punched out with my circle punch.  I've used my fave color combo here and lots of glitter and bling!  I've also put a ribbon in her hair to match her gold bells dangling from her dress and placed a rhinestone in the middle of both of the bows on the card.  If you notice her hair, I've made a two-tone color which is called "Ombre Hair" that I've recently learned.  I've never tried this technique before, but I'd like to practice a bit more with it.  I've also added touches of sparkle to her hair where the bluish color is.

Here are some challenges that I'd like to enter this card for today:
Saturated Canary - Winged Things
Fab 'N' Funky - "You Can Stick It!" (gems)
Flutterby Wednesday - Emboss It! (dry embossed purple panel)
Totally Gorjuss - Bows
Sentimental Sundays - Ombre Hair + senitment
Loves Rubber Stamps (LRSBC67) - Favorite Color Combination

I always like to see several different observations of the same design and I know I don't always do that, so here's a close-up view of the image again...
I had so much fun coloring her in!  Hope you've enjoyed my crafty share today as well!
Thanks for checking in my friends!!

Now, for the photos of the school being built across the street from me!  I get to watch this right outside my window daily and it is quite amazing how fast everything gets done.  Right now, there is still quite a bit of mess because they're still digging underground and replacing pipes and putting in footings where the new construction will be going.  Once they're done and move the kids to the new school, the old building will be taken down.  Here are just a couple of photos of the progress.....
OK, this one was taken directly from my window and this was the very early stages of the project.  You see off to your left that this is the old construction in place and there are the white pipes laying around to get ready to go into the ground.  (At this point there was lots of underground digging and the building off to the right used to be behind the building on the left.  It is now moved over next to the Jr. High School which is to the right of this photo.

As you can see now quite a bit of progress has been made with new walls put up next to the side of the gym which will become locker rooms.  (I wish I had gotten a better shot in the top photo, but hopefully you can see the difference in the changes.)

And this photo was just taken yesterday after the kids had cleared the parking lot and the construction workers were still there working on it.  Here you can see that they have the steel structure in place and putting up a roof along with still working on the inside of the locker rooms, which you can't see in the photo, but taking my dog for walks, we walk around the entire area and are able to see the progress.

There is also a dirt mess on the other side of this building where the main part of the school will be going with a clock tower and parking, etc.  I have some photos of the dirt pile in the back and I will share the progress of those photos at another time, but this quite a huge project going on across from my home!
I think it will be awesome when it's complete!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I always love it when you visit!
I'll be back again soon with another creation and a tutorial to share!

It's All About the Boys

Hello friends!  Happy hot & steamy Monday to you!
There is a heat advisory in my area this afternoon and it will be really hot all week!
So you know that this means some happy crafting time for me!

I wanted to post this creation earlier this morning as I had the image colored on my studio desk Friday, but didn't get a chance to finish up the card until this morning.  I was cleaning and scrubbing my house this weekend as I knew I wouldn't want to deal with it whilst it is hot out! BLAH!

I always find that I'm in need of masculine creations for birthdays and such as most of the people in my family are all boys.  I also find that when I sell creations, those are ones that seem to go really well second to the sympathy cards.  I pulled out this sweet LOTV image that a sweet friend gave me a while back...unfortunately, I don't own very many of these sweet images, but of course give me time! LOL!
This adorable little fellow is called Big Present.  I colored him with my Copics and even added my own "For you" on the tag in the image.  The sentiment comes from a SU! set in my stash and I punched it out, distressed around the edges, added some faux stitching details and hooked it on my twine with the bow.
The die cut fence is from Magnolia.  I added some more faux stitching and distressing around the circle image panel and the dark green panel as well.  The striped papers that I've used in the background have been in my stash for way too long and I was happy to have used some more of it!

The inside has some matching papers and a sentiment that says:  "Pack up a little sunshine, tuck your cares away, celebrate, and enjoy yourself...'cause it's your day to play!"  Sentiment by Darcie's.

Here are some challenges that I'd like to enter this creation in:
Loves Rubber Stamps (LRSBC66) - Round or Square
Divas by Design - Use some Twine
Penny's Paper Crafty - Dies &/or Punches
Paper Crafting Journey - anything goes
Lili's Little Fairies - It's All About the Boys
Crafty Catz - Stitching (faux or real)
2 Sisters - square cards
Sketch Saturday - sketch
Pile it On - designer paper
ABC Challenges (ABC42) - No flowers

I still promise you that I'm going to work on my tutorials and get them up soon...it's just a lazy summer feeling I guess! LOL!  I still have so much new crafty stamps/goodies to share too!  There is just never enough time in the day to do everything you'd like to do!  But please keep watching as I slowly get things back in working "order" on my blog and get things put up on here that you want to see.  *If there was something on my old blog that you wanted to see, but never got a chance to or wanted to come back to it, please let me know what it was and I'll try and get something similar or the same thing put back up here for you.*
Thanks so much for checking in today friends and I'll be back here again shortly!
Stay cool and craft!

Just Chill!

Hello my friends!  Hope you are staying nice and cool!
I have been staying indoors and coloring so this is what I'll be doing this week!
Just a short and sweet post for you today thinking of cool thoughts...
Can I get you to say "Ahhhh!"  Nothing like dipping into a nice cool ice glass of lemonade...only I usually don't take a sip with a meece in it!! LOL!!  This is one of my fave House Mouse stamps!  I've also colored and cut out an extra lemon with sparkle in the right bottom corner of my image panel.  I've dug out some of these clear yellow baubles that I've had in my stash for such a long time.  I thought it would be fun to variously place them on my image...sort of like lemonade drops.
So are you thirsty yet?!

Here are some challenges to enter:
House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge (HMFMC151) - Liquid Refreshments
Stampendous August Challenge - House Mouse
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - Sweet Treats
Created with Love - Something sweet
Tuesday Throwdown - Use Your Scraps (I'm still hoarding from the packs I've used here! LOL!)
The Crafter's Cafe - Bling & Sparkling Things

Thanks for popping in today...I'll be back again with another something soon!

Many Folds to Tea Time!

Hello friends!  I hope you are doing well as we grow closer to the end of Summer.
It is supposed to be really really HOT this week, so this air conditioning is staying on!
I have also up-loaded some photos of our school construction from hubby's phone to my computer, so I may post a few once I go through all of them and pick out a few...it's quite a mess and it will be something to see how everyone handles it this morning when school starts here! LOL!

Today I have several photos of the creation that I've been working on.  There are many different folds involved in this one and I've never tried one of these before, but I thought it was fun and a bit different.
OK...so here we are with the front of my design.  I guess you can think of this as sort of a "book".
I've used my yummy Tea for Two designer papers from Stampin' Up! throughout this design.  Even the little "Have Tea" tag was created with the papers.  I've added some faux stitching, distressing and yummy ribbon to help hold all of this together.  So when you take off the ribbon, you grab the "Have Tea" tab and lift it as it is Velcro.  This is similar to a gate fold card design....

So when you open up both folds, this is what you will see on the inside of the gate fold design.
No matter where you open this creation, you will sentiments throughout.  (You can see that I've added a little "thinking of you" tag next to the Vintage style button.  I've also added some more stitching and distressing to the papers on the inside as well.

This sweet Lili of the Valley image was colored with my Copics to match my papers and then I used a die to place her inside my design.  I've also added some flowers that I sprayed with paint along with the tea pot charm that is dangling from the flowers.  You can also see a touch of liquid pearls on her flowers in her hat.
I think she's so sweet getting ready for her tea party! :0)

OK...so when you pull up on the image panel, you will see that you can open up that and set it up like an easel design!  Note that I have another sentiment on the inside of the design.
So basically when the gate fold card opens and laying flat, you can see the easel design.  So it's like a two for one card design!  I was thinking this would make a really adorable photo album too!

And here's just a better close-up of my design.  Of course, it's always so much better to play with in person and you can see all of the fun details too!  Believe it or not, this whole card design was made from a single 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock!  I used the gate fold design concept, but added a different element to it!
It's really very easy to create!

**CLICK HERE** for Tutorial on how to make this!

Here are a few challenges that I'd like to enter this for:
Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - Vintage/Shabby Chic
Totally Gorjuss - Die Cuts & Punches
Addicted to Stamps - Shabby/Vintage
The Cutie Pie Challenge - anything goes
ABC Challenges - Lots of Layers
Top Tip Tuesday - Use Your Initials ("V" for Vintage and "P" for Papers, Pearls & Paint)
Crafty Creations - Shabby Chic

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  I hope you like my design and do come back as I have been working on some images that I've started coloring!  I also have a couple of tutorials coming up for you soon! Have a lovely day friends!

Peeking in to Say Happy Birthday and New Rubbah!

Yay!  It's Saturday and the weekend has begun!
This will be the last weekend before school starts in our area and it will start in the middle of new construction going on.  We are getting a brand new school built and this is a bit exciting for us in this little town! LOL!  Especially when you live right across the street from it! Oiy!  Let's just say that it hasn't been a quiet or peaceful Summer this year for me.  I am taking photos of the changes going on and hope to put together a book for my kids...we'll see how that works!

Anyway, speaking of my neighborhood, my neighbor posted on Facebook that her dear loved one is having her 96th birthday at the end of August and she was hoping to get birthday cards sent to her...and of course with me being a card maker, I wanted to join in the fun of making her one! :0)
(If you crafters would like to send one too, please contact me for an address to send it to.)
I sure hope she can reach her goal and make this lady one happy birthday girl!
Here's what I decided to go with for my card:
I absolutely LOVE this image!  I used a stamp that I haven't even inked up until now!  I know, shame on me!  This is a Sugar Nellie stamp called Peek a Boo.  I also just found out (don't know where I've been!) that Sugar Nellie has branched out in the U.S.!! Yay!  I was so excited to see this as I love their stamps!  So if you are in the U.S. please go to their U.S. Sugar Nellie website to buy your stamps!  (They don't have everything there, yet, but they say they're going to stock more soon...so let them know that you want them to carry more stuff in U.S.!!)  The sentiment and the inside of this card comes from a set by Darcie's and is called Birthday Bear.  They have some really darling stamps too! :0)

She was so fun to color and thought she needed a bit of sparkle on her present ribbon and balloon. I kept this one a bit simple because I've just mailed it in a matching envelope that you see the card is sitting on.  I didn't want to mail a thick package with lots of flowers because I wanted to make sure she got it in time for her birthday!  I hope she likes it and gets many more wishes!

Here's what the inside of this card looks like:
I've used some matching papers (Basic Grey - Nook & Pantry) same as front of card and added a colored gift image and popped it out in the corner.  This is the same image that I used for the envelope and middle of the inside sentiment.  Of course I had to add a bit more sparkle on the gift and the punched circle for the sentiment.  The gift came from the same Birthday Bear stamp set.

Here are some challenges that I'd like to enter this card for:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch # 219

The Sugar Bowl - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Occasion-ally
Creative Belli Challenge (CBC176) - glitter (forgotten stamp & old papers!)
Penny's Paper Crafty - Lace and/or Ribbon

And for some other fun news to share.....all of my prize winnings have been coming in this week and a little shopping here and there...it's so fun to get new rubbah!!!
Yay!  I got some new LOTV stamps, some Riley & Company prize winnings and prize winnings from Magnolia-licious!  I can't wait to start making up some fun projects with it!! :0)
So make sure you stop back by to see what I'll be making next!
Thanks so much for dropping in today to see what I'm doing!  I love hearing from you my friends!
Enjoy your weekend and I'll see you again soon!

Come Take a S.I.P. with Me!

Hello my friends and a happy Friday to you!
I am looking forward to the weekend and hopefully spend some time with my family.

Today, I'd like to share a creation I made as a Guest Designer for their challenge this week at:
ABC Challenges
For this challenge, they would like you to use
S.I.P. (Stamps, Ink & Paper) - "SIP is a well-known acronym used in paper crafting when we want to focus on keeping things simple.  SIP stands for:  Stamps, Ink, Paper.  This week we are creating cards using only Stamps, Ink and Paper. (You can use pattern paper too.)"

Now I don't know about you, but I do find these type of challenges really challenging!
It's been such a long time ago since I first started stamping, that I forgot what it was like to just start out and have a limited supply of crafty things on hand...I can't even imagine that now, can you?!! LOL!
So here's what I went with for the challenge using some of my Stampin' Up! stamps...
I took my Thoughts & Prayers stamp set to create this card.  I always like to try and have some of these type of cards on hand when I need them because they're not a pleasure in creating when you really do need one.  I've used the colors:  Early Espresso, Pool Party and Whisper White for my card stock.
For the circle, all I did was cut out a circle and used the negative piece and sponged different colors of ink in it, then removed it and then stamped my tree and sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
The Pool Party card background was stamped with Whisper White ink.  Then I added two strips of Early Espresso card stock at the bottom and that's about it!  Simples...so if I can do it, so can YOU! :0)
So get your S.I.P. supplies and enter your creation!

Here's some challenges that I'd like to enter the above card for:
4 Crafty Chicks - sympathy
Aud Sentiments - Anything but a Birthday Card (+ sentiment)
Craftin' Boutique - Anything Goes

I was on a roll, so I thought I'd share another creation I made...just having fun with some stamps that I haven't played with for a while:
Although this is not "exactly" a S.I.P. style of creation with the embossing folder, punches and pearls, it is still quite simple, but also elegant enough for a quick wedding card when you need one!
I used my Mosaic Madness stamp set along with the Mosaic embossing folder and punch.  I also added this elegant sentiment from my Loving Thoughts stamp set.
I punched out the middle design of the mosaics and then added a tiny pearl in the center of each one.

Hope you've enjoyed my simple cards today and please do go over and check out the
ABC Challenge for inspiration and enter your S.I.P. card!
I will be back again with another special creation that I made for someone.
Thanks for stopping by friends!

A Wee Little Thinking

Hello friends and happy hump day to ya!
Once again the weather has turned gorgeous enough for me to open up the windows and turn the air conditioning off...perhaps for a couple of days.  I'm really loving it and enjoying what I can for now.

Really having some fun with my new goodies and experimenting with new things, colors and accents.
I also have a new image to share...Love these images!
Isn't she just precious?!  This is a Wee Stamp called Summer Fairy.  I've also used the beautiful "Thinking of You" banner from the Wee Flower Fairies Set by cutting it out and attaching to the lower left of my card.  I just love her long wavy hair!  It's so hard to tell in the photo, but I've got some shimmer smooch on parts of her wings and she's standing in a puddle of glitter.  I've also added some liquid pearls to her flowers and in her hair along with some on the sentiment banner.

Here's a closer look at this sweet Summer fairy:
As you can see, I've broke out my new bottle of frantage along with some frantage chips to add to the corners of the image panel.  It looks much better IRL because you can see the shine from the embossing better.  You can see a closer look at my coloring here along with the pearls.

And here's a closer look at the sentiment banner with my coloring and the pearls as well.
You can see my lacy pink background papers and another strip of lace next to that.  And I also added another strip of lace going across the middle behind the image panel and added some pink pearls to each end.  I think all the lace really helps to soften up the look.  I did some faux stitching as well on all of the panels except for the images.

Here are some challenges that I'd like to enter this for:
Magnolia-licious - "Lacy Lace"
Tuesday Throwdown - Pastel Rainbow
Charisma Cardz - Stitching (faux or real)
Fussy and Fancy Friday - Bingo Board (Pearls, Free space, Lace)
allsorts - stitching (faux or real)
One Stop Craft - Use Pastel Colors
CLP Sketch Challenge - Aug Sketch
2 Sisters - Your Favorite Embellishments (flowers, pearls, lace)

So I hope you've enjoyed my creation for you today and I will be back with another creation using more of my new goodies soon!  So come back again to see what they are!
Enjoy your day today and thanks for dropping in!

Going in Circles and Twisted!

Hello friends!  Here we are starting up another week in August! Wow!
Time has gone by really fast this Summer, but I am ready for Fall to get here as I love that time of year!
Did you all have a great weekend?  I sure did!  I was able to spend some time in my craft room and my hubby bought home some pretty lavender flowers and surprised me!
I also found some time in the kitchen to make some yummy treats! :)

So I told you that I was going to use some of the new products from my candy winnings...well...I did not do this!  YET!  I am working on some things, I promise!  Coloring is one of my fave things to do and it's hard to tell, but I suppose I DID use some new Copic refills/markers on this creation...so that is something new, right?!  That's all I got right now...so just go with it! LOL!

Although I did win some things from Riley and Company, (coming soon here) I used this fun little guy from my stash that I already had so that it would work for their current challenge going on right now:
Wow...he's twisting around like a mad moose! LOL!  You gotta love Riley with his cuteness!  This one is from the Circus release called Hula Hoop Riley.  The "Twisted" sentiment came from the same Circus collection release and the sentiment on the bottom inside of my card was computer generated by me.  I punched it out and popped it up on a stamped background of hula hoops.  The hula hoop image on the "twisted" sentiment and in the background of the inside is also from the Circus collection release which are a whole set of accessories that go with all those adorable Circus Riley stamps!

I think this card would work for either a masculine or feminine birthday which is something that I like about those Riley stamps too!  Yes, I also know that Riley is not exactly sitting perfectly straight on the front of the design...but that's really the whole point, right?!  He is twisted! LOL!  So I made this circle easel shape design for the current Riley and Company challenge going on which is:  Spots, Dots, Circles.  I think I've got it covered here!
I have "spots" all around Riley which I've made with my Copic markers.  The "dots" appear in the background papers and the "circles" are pretty much everywhere here!

Here are some challenges that I'd like to enter this for:
Riley and Company (RILEY1613)- Spot, Dots, Circles
Tuesday Throwdown - "Don't Be Square!"
The Crafter's Cafe - Furry Friends and/or Friendship (Moose are furry, right?!)
Cute Card Thursday - "Die-ing to Punch"
Brown Sugar - anything goes
Sweet Stampin' - Going Krafty

So next time I will hopefully be able to share the NEW things with you!  I guess it depends upon where I'm at with my craft room creations and what strikes me at the time!  You just never know what will get put up and what I'll be using here...it's a surprise every time! :0)  Hopefully you enjoy it all just the same.
Thanks so much for dropping by today, I sure love it when you take the time to visit!
I will be around to see what's going on in your world soon!

School is Heating Up Soon!

Hello friends!  Hope you are having a wonderful week so far!
I'm so thrilled with our weather this Summer as it has cooled down a bit once again and I am able to shut my air conditioning off for a while and open up my windows.  Pretty soon it will be chilly with a crisp Fall air coming in!  I am ready for Fall as it's my fave time of the year...so bring it on!

I have a different creation for you today that's not a card.  I made a cute Post-It Note holder!
LOL!  This lil meece makes me smile!  I haven't gotten out my House Mouse Stamps to play too much and I miss coloring them in.  I cut out all of the different images in this stamp and used all of them except for the paper clip.  I added a real one from my stash.  (I just glued in on with my handy strong zip glue.)
For the House Mouse & Friends challenge, they would like to see some heat embossing.  So I've embossed my blue background with a dotted line stamp with clear embossing powder.  I've also made a "chalk board" look by embossing an alphabet image on grey card stock with white embossing powder and then sponged some white ink on it.  I've also embossed a ruler image for the corner pieces of my design.

He is just having so much fun getting his school supplies ready for back-to-school season! LOL!
I usually make tons of these for the craft shows that I do and I know the teacher's or the people that want to get a gift for a teacher really seem to like these.  Although I probably will only have one craft show to do this year, I will be gearing up for items the following year so it gives me time to "stock up" on some things!

Here are the challenges that I'd like to enter this one for:
House Mouse & Friends (HMFMC150) - heat embossing
Eclectic Ellapu - For a Teacher
Pile it On - School Time
Loves Rubber Stamps - anything goes
Send a Smile 4 Kids - Anything Goes 4 Kids
Top Tip Tuesday - Embossing (Heat or Dry)

That's all for me today, but I am working on some things "behind the scenes" here and I will be back as I'm having so much fun playing around with my stash again and it feels wonderful!
Thanks so much for dropping in and I wish you all a fabulous day!

What Life is About...

Hello friends!  Yes, I'm still here! LOL!  Hope you had a great weekend.
Mine was pretty busy with different things going on, but I enjoyed the time I spent with family.

I have also been so thrilled as my winnings from last week have or are coming in and it's like Christmas getting new goodies!  It's been such a long while since I've gotten any crafty goodies and it can very motivating when you are trying to create and get your "MOJO" back and running! :0)

And since I've started a blog back up again, I was always questioning "my style" or what products, images, colors, designs, etc that I "should" or "should not" be doing.  I think when we start to question our own creativity, it can hinder us in crafting as the person we "really" are.  We are each unique and we all have our own styles...even if we CASE someone...it is still our "own style" and it makes us crafters who we really are as artists.  I've also come to realize that everyone has "art work" that they like or don't like because it's what attracts them to it.  I can ALWAYS find something attractive about someones design and be inspired by it.  I honestly love to see what people are creating because there are so many clever ideas out there.
So weather you like "my style" or not...I am thrilled that you came to see my designs for whatever reason! :0)
I don't think I have a style at all...it's really whatever tickles my fancy at the time.
So here's what has tickled my fancy lately:
I think these Saturated Canary images are sooo darling!  This cutie is called Traveling Colors.  I cut her out and separated her Copic marker from the image and placed it next to her feet.
I thought this would make for a nice one-layer card.  I stamped the edges, added the sentiment and then added some die cut clouds at the top.  I also sprinkled some glitter under her bag of Copic markers and her feet.  She was just so much fun to color in!

Here are a few challenges that I'd like to enter this for:
Saturated Canary Challenges - "Set Your Creativity Free!" (anything goes)
Charisma Cardz - "Up in the Clouds" (use clouds)
Cute Card Thursday - anything goes
One Stop Craft - Keep it Simple
Crafty Calendar - anything goes
2 Sisters - anything goes
The Crazy Challenges - anything goes

So I hope you've enjoyed my creation!  I will be working with some of the new goodies that I got and share my results with all of that!   I wish you a wonderfully creative and productive day today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Just ONE More Christmas!

Happy Friday...it's finally here! Yay!  Now that the temperatures are back up and it's not raining, I'm going to try to enjoy the out doors this weekend!

I guess I was still in the mood for Christmas, so I thought I'd share just one more with you until the times gets closer anyway...I promise I will hold off on it for a while just in case you are growing tired of it! :0)
I pulled out my one and only Christmas Magnolia that I own and had a play...
I think she's so adorable!  This Magnolia is called "Unwrapped" which actually doesn't necessarily need to be for Christmas, but I love coloring her socks with the red and green colors! :0)
I also love adding some bling and sparkle to my Christmas designs as well, so I punched out some snowflakes with my glimmer paper and then put some rhinestones in the middle of each.  I also added some glitter around the edge of the circle.  There is also a tiny bit of shimmer in her hair ribbon and ribbon on the ground as I used my red glitter pen to color them.  (It's hard to tell unless you're viewing it IRL.)

Here are the challenges that I'd like to enter this creation for:
Totally Tilda - Christmas Bingo! :  2 lines - across middle and down middle (see below):

Magnolia-licious - anything goes
Simply Magnolia - anything goes
Magnolia Down Under - Your Favorite Things:  lace, seam binding ribbon, Copics, glitter, rhinestones, die cuts, punches... (oh my!)
Sweet Sketch Wednesday (SSW217) - sketch (see below):
