Whimsy Stamps October 2014 Holiday Release - GRAND BLOG HOP! (Give-Away + video!)

Welcome to the ...
Whimsy Stamps October release BLOG HOP!

The Whimsy Stamps DT and GDT have been sharing some amazing creations made with the new stamps and dies over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating their release with a GRAND BLOG HOP!

The hop starts today (Wednesday October 8th at 12.00PM noon ET) and ends on Friday October 10th at 12.00pm noon ET. If you would like to hop along with us today, please CLICK HERE to start the beginning of the hop at Donna's blog

I'm so excited to be sharing my projects + a video with you today as a guest designer for
Whimsy Stamps!  I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you!
Here is a view of all of the projects I made using several new stamps from this release!
Yesterday's sneak peek card I shared is shown on the top right in the above photo.  (CLICK HERE or scroll down on my blog to the next post below if you'd like to see that card up close.)

Today, I'm sharing some creations I made using these stamps from this release:

and also...

Here is a close look at the box....
I couldn't resist coloring up this sweet *NEW* O'Holey Night stamp from the Crissy Armstrong Collection!  I thought it would be sweet to put on the front of my box for a Christmas present!  I used some liquid applique for the fur trimming on the hats.  I also used some "faux snowflakes" to the bottom of the mice for a touch of sparkly snow.

The kraft box was also stamped with white ink using the "star burst" image from the SC Designs Clear Stamps Collection "Thanks a Million".  (You'll also see me use this in the video below.)  I tied a bow over top of the box with some pretty gold metallic ribbon and then I tied on a tag from the *NEW* Notable Collections 2 stamp set by Raindrop Echo Designs Collection.

For the gift card/money holders:
Here I've used the *NEW* Notable Collections 2 stamp set by Raindrop Echo Designs Collection in various ways besides just using them as a gift tag like you saw on my gift box above.

Here is a closer view of the center gift card/money holder and the video showing you how to make one of these easy holders for yourself!
Here you can see that I've added a gift card inside the envelope and it's perfect for hanging up on your tree until it's time to open Christmas presents!  I colored the tag with the snowman using my Copic markers and fussy cut it out to pop on the front.

If you'd like to learn how I made this, check out the video below:
You can also watch it on You Tube if you want to see it in HD:  CLICK HERE
Hope you've enjoy my inspiration for you today using the new stamps in this release!
No need to wait...you can purchase these items in the store now!

---------------------FOR THE GIVE-AWAY!!---------------------

One lucky hopper will win a $25 gift certificate! To enter the draw, simply leave a comment at EVERY stop along the hop by 12.00pm noon on Friday October 10th. Here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:
