Whimsy Stamps October 2014 - Rubber Stamps Holiday Release (Part 2) - Sneak Peek Day 2!

Hello friends!  I'm so excited to be apart of this new release with Whimsy Stamps as a guest designer!
Please join me both today and tomorrow for LOTS of inspiration!
So without further ado....

Welcome to Day 2 of the Whimsy Stamps ...
2014 Holiday Release - Part 2
This week Whimsy is releasing 18 *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps/stamp sets and 6 *BRAND NEW* coordinating die/die sets, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers TOMORROW! ..
Whimsy is thrilled to welcome Stephanne Maraver, Vicki Parson, Denise Griffith, Debbie Jennett, Donna Rudy and Crissy Armstrong as Guest Designers for this release.

Yesterday we sneak peeked the new Crissy Armstrong, Art by Mi Ran, and SC Design products. Today we are excited to show you the brand new Meljen’s Designs, Time for Tea Designs, Elisabeth Bell and Raindrop Echo Designs stamps and dies being released this month. For a full reveal of these products, hop on over to the Whimsy blog

Here's the stamps that I'm using on my creation for you today:
and also....

I made a special card I'd like to share with you...
This is the darling *NEW* Christmas Angel available tomorrow for purchase from the Time for Tea Designs

For the angel, I've colored her with my Copic markers and cut her out except for the wing.  I stamped the image directly onto the patterned paper and colored the edges of the wings with a gold glitter pen.  I then popped up the colored cut out angel to place on top of the wings.  I even added some gold Stickles glitter glue to the top of her halo.

The outer edges of the poinsettia patterned paper were distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks and the round mini blending tool.  I took my colorless blender to add some faded "dots" to it and then added some more gold dots with my gold glitter pen as well.

For the banner, I used the sentiment on the green banner (*NEW* Notables Collection 2 - from the Raindrop Echo Designs Collection) and embossed it with white detail embossing powder.  (I will have more to show you with this set tomorrow...so be sure to come back!)  I also took some gold cord to thread a criss-cross design and then punched out a heart from the musical note paper and covered it with glossy accents.  Before the glossy accents was entirely dry, I added the wood star on top.

Hope you've enjoyed my creation and please be sure to catch all the inspiration today!

HUGS & SMILES
*Vicki*
