A Sea-ketchy Thanks

Happy GOOD Friday!!
I'm ready for a weekend...especially since the weather has been so gorgeous here!
I sure hope it will last over the weekend especially with Easter here! :)

I have been playing around with some new My Favorite Things and wanted to share something that's not really Spring, but a bit more like a Summer feel!  Yeah...I'm jumping the gun here! LOL!
I had these cool papers that I've been hoarding for a while and thought it would fun to use them with this sketch I found on the MFT blog!  (see below)
I've also used a new stamp set called Sea Life along with the coordinating dies.  I tried to match up my ink colors with the papers that I've used which I thought gave this a really cool look!
I've also used the MFT Stitched Traditional Tags and cut the bottom portion to match the sketch with the MFT Stitched Rounded Rectangle and then punched out a slot at the top.

I've used the MFT Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut both of the side panels.  I just cut them in half and then used my piercing tool to make the stitch lines in the middle where they meet.  I also added some washi tape (I hoard that too for some weird reason!) and ticket punched out from the same paper and then I went over that with my piercer tool as well.  The sentiment was embossed on the kraft card stock with white EP and I cut to make the banner and popped it out over the tag.  The sea weed and star fish elements were tucked in places and attached to the tag.  Hard to see in the photo, but I went over the star fish with my Wink of Stella Glitter pen.  I also tied on some natural twine to the tag and popped that up over the card panel.

So that's all I have for you today!  I do hope that you enjoy your Easter weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping in today!! :)

I hope your wish for nice weather has come true, Vicki! We've had several gorgeous days here other than the pine pollen that blankets everything this time of year. Better than a blanket of snow! Loved this card on FB yesterday! The added stitches are a perfect touch and really make it have that beach effect. Pretty and SUMMERY! Wishing you a happy, blessed Easter! Thank you for your kindness and encouragement. Hugs from NC!!
