Water-colored Home TWEET Home

Hello friends!!
I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!
My weekend was great and I enjoyed spending time with hubby since he only has one day off!  We always try and make the time we are together count as much as possible.  We know it won't last forever, but it's how it is right now.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous yesterday and we enjoyed being out in it!

The card I have to share with you today reminds me of him!  If you are reading this hubby, I will always be right here at home for you love! :)
This is another first for me using this really fun and adorable stamp set that I had gotten a few months back.  I could resist when I saw it! :)  This is from Newton's Nook called Tweet Talk.

I've used a sketch to put together the design and for the background, I've used a piece of water colored background and die cut it out with my stitched rectangle die. (I always like to make up several backgrounds when I water-color so that I have one on hand when I want one.)
*CLICK HERE to see a video I made on how I made this background.*

The fence is actually from a border punch that I've had for a few years.  I stamped the bird houses and bird on top, colored them in with my Copic markers and fussy cut them out to put over the water-color background.
I made a banner and embossed the sentiment over it with white embossing powder and added an enamel heart next to it.

That's all for my share today.  Hope you've enjoyed it and I thank you so much for stopping in today!

Here are some challenges I'd like to enter this card for:
Inky Paws Challenge - water color

Nacho Average Challenge - sketch (darn it!  Missed deadline!)

Sisters of Craft - anything goes

Moving Along with the Times - Birthstone Color (September)

Crafty Card Makers - Wings

This is ALL too wonderful....everything by hand, even the watercolor background paper. You even hand cut around the birdhouses. AND, what a tweet thing to do and say about your hubby! A lot of sweetness wrapped up into this precious card!
