Simon Says Stamp - Sneak Peek - The Color of Fun!

Hello friends!
I have a really FUN "sneak peek" post to share with you today!

So on the Simon Says Stamp Facebook page, they had a fun give away to a randomly selected group of 50 individuals who sent them an e-mail.  Guess what?  I was one of them! :) EEEK!
So shortly there after, I received a package in the mail that contained an awesome stamp set that will be included in their new release!  How cool is that?!  And really generous of them I think!
I can't wait to see what's in the entire collection!  Looks like lots of fun to me! :)
You might want to hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp blog and check it out!

So the name of the stamp set that I received is "Big Scripty Greetings".
And if I had to take a guess, I would say that the hand-writing looks very familiar to that of the talented Kristina Werner! :)

Here are some various styled creations that I made with this set:
This is a very CAS style design in which I featured the "Scripty thank you" sentiment at the top corner of my design and then I used the SSS Lots of Dots stamp set to create my own pattern at the bottom of the card.  If you like circles, I highly recommend this set because it has both the solid and outline circles in several various sizes.  I would like to get the hearts and stars one sometime! :)
I thought this would make for a nice simple masculine design.

So for card number 2, I took the "Scripty birthday" sentiment and die cut it out with MFT stitched circle die and sponged around the edges of it with some Antique Linen distress ink.  The paper banners I have made come from a set of papers that were left over from a past SSS card kit.
I added some linen thread around my vanilla panel along with a Vintage safety pen.
The circle sentiment was popped on top of the banners with foam tape.

And so for my last card, I decided to try something a bit different with the set and took the "Scripty awesome" sentiment and embossed it with clear embossing powder over some Strathmore watercolor paper.  I then took out my Zig Kuretake Gansi Tambi watercolors and played around with adding some color over top of the sentiment.   I splattered a few spots of black to make it pop a bit more and then added some hearts from a past SSS card kit stamp set. (Hand Lettered Winter Wishes)
I've also added some clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins and a strip of Shape n' Tape Decorative sheet towards the top of the front of the watercolor paper.  I added some white fun foam to the back and then attached it to an A2 sized card base.

So as you can see, I just pulled it out when I got it and had just TONS of fun with it!  I think it's such a versatile set that could be used in many different ways no matter what style you are! :)
Hope you've enjoyed the creations I've shared with you using this set!
If I've "enabled" you to purchase this set (grin!), be sure to tell them that I sent you!!
Go over and check out the SSS blog where I'm sure they'll be sharing things! :)
Thanks so much for joining me here today!!
