Sunflower Golden Thanks

Hello friends!
I'm back again this afternoon to share another "thank you" card that I promised!
I guess I'm still in the Fall mood as I know it will be full-on gear after Thanksgiving in a couple days to start in on those Christmas creations.  I love Fall so I think I'm going to try to hold on to it for as long as I possibly can! LOL!

I have a few more thank you cards to get put in the mail and I'd like to do that before Thanksgiving gets here.  So to start off with, here's a pretty sunflower trio:
Sunflowers are just perfect for the Fall time with their big beautiful blooms!
I have used this awesome sunflower image from STAMPlorations Bloom Sketches.  I have stamped it three times on a piece of vanilla card stock with chocolate chip ink and then fussy cut them out.  I took some distress inks to sponge some color on them as well.

For the background panel, I took a piece of vanilla card stock and used the same sunflower image and stamped it repeatedly in the background with kraft ink.  I also used the same ink to sponge around the edges of this panel. I then took two of the cut out sunflowers and placed them on each side of the stamped front panel and then  I took a wonky stitched rectangle die to cut it out and mount it over a vanilla A2 sized top folding card base.

I took the third sunflower and wrapped some gold thread to make a nest and then attached some foam tape to the back of it to pop it out over the other two sunflowers.
I then die cut the STAMPlorations Thanks word die in gold foil paper and glued it above the sunflower trio.  I then took the sentiment from the same Bloom Sketches set and stamped it in chocolate chop ink right below the word die.

Here's a closer view of the details:
Here you can see the reflection of the gold paper from the die cut sentiment along with the gold threads behind the sunflower and how it's popped up.  You will also notice that in the centers of the sunflowers I took a gold gel pen and added a few dots as well as the petals on the sunflowers where I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to give it a bit more sparkle.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today and I'll be back tomorrow with another one to share! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, I love reading your thoughts!
